Fire Station

Uncle Aaron let us tour the fire station.  The kids loved going up and down on the gurney.
Hudson and Reagan in the Drivers seat.  The Helmet was so heavy Hudson couldn't keep his head up without using his arms.

Thanks for making this little boys day Aaron!

Zoo Day!

This year we bought I zoo pass with our cousins.  It was a beautiful day and the kids were in heaven.

These two were hilarious to watch.  There were pictures on the map of the different animals, and they were in charge of telling us where to go the whole time.

We rode the carousel twice.  Hudson could have stayed on all day.

This is what summer is all about.  Bentley was just happy to go along, and Hudson loved the water sprayers at the Tigers cage.  We will definitely be going again soon.

Angel Moroni

Last Tuesday we met up with Stuart, Laura, and Sarah's family to welcome angel Moroni back to the Ogden temple. Hudson was so serious when we first got there, but soon was distracted when his cousins showed up. They spent most of the time pretending to play trumpets, and riding hot wheels on the sidewalk. Laura was interviewed by ksl, and we all managed to get in a picture in a Deseret news article. We spent the afternoon eating lunch and playing at the park on 25th street.

Scott's birthday

We decided to celebrate Scott's birthday the other night. We made his favorite dinner encharitos, and Stuart and Laura came over for some birthday cake. Sometimes his birthday gets overlooked because it comes in the middle of Bentley's and Hudson's, but we are so grateful for this man in our lives and all the hard work he puts in everyday.

Baby animal day

We met Grandma Gerrard, Aunt Hailey, Megan Brady and her girls,Jesse and Tate at the baby animal days in Kaysville. They had baby animals the kids could hold, along with bouncy houses, horse rides, and face painting. Hudson held them all but the snake.

Pirate Party!!

Hudson is turning three this Tuesday so we decided to celebrate with his cousins on Sunday.  They are all born within a week of each other.  We had a fun BBQ, bouncy house, pinata, presents, and even a chocolate pirate cake. Hudson kept telling me how awesome his party was the whole time.
Oli and Hudson had on matching pirate costumes.  Thanks Grandma Gerrard for finding them for us. They were perfect.

These kids really got into the theme.

The cake.

Hudson picked out this pinata himself.  He chose it because it was sooo scary.

Can't forget this birthday boy either.

I seriously love this kid so much.  When I was younger and thought about the children I would have I always hoped they would be happy free spirited kids.  Boy I didn't know what I was in for.  This little one is so extremely happy, energetic, and has an imagination I never thought possible.  Thank you Hudson for changing me in so many amazing ways, and for forgiving this new little mamma everytime.  Love you everyday. -Mom
