Spring Break 2014 in St. George

This year Scott only got a few days off for spring break so we headed down south. Grandma Lloyd was kind enough to let us stay at her beautiful home.  My parents and my sister came along and helped out with the kids so we could take turns biking. It was a blast!
We stared the trip off with Jem which has easily become my favorite mountain bikng trail. Hailey hung back with the kids and spent the day on the banks of the virgin river. There was even a little beach carved into the red rock that was perfect for playing in.

The next day the girls snuck away to road bike snow canyon. It was a beautiful day and we all managed to make it without falling. Riding down this canyon is the closest thing you can come to flying, and the views were amazing.

Saturday night we took the kids to snow canyon. Scott found this little guy trying to cross the road so he gave him a little help. The boys loved it.

We were pretty sure the boys could have stayed at the sand dunes for hours. It was the softest sand I have ever felt and it was so fine it rolled right off of you. All of the local kids were digging tunnels to roll their Easter eggs down the hills.

We found some petrified dunes that were perfect for little boys to climb all over. H took off and and B refused to let us hold him.

I love his picture because of the wild dessert flowers. These white flowers and many others were everywhere.

When we weren't riding bikes or hiking we were swimming at the pool. Scott was so great to really play with the boys so I could relax and read.

This Easter was my favorite. The boys woke up at 7 am,found their baskets, and played with there new art supplies all morning. We had an Easter egg hunt and filled the eggs with mini Oreos which are the boys favorite treat. We spent the afternoon going to church with Scott's grandparents and eating a yummy homemade dinner. Nothing different then what we usually do I just think everything is better in St. George haha.
